KIRKUS REVIEW

The author of the immensely popular Glands Regulating Personality, ten years and more ago, treats here the subject of cosmic psycho-activity. In detailed and vigorous fashion, he traces the physiological and psychological aspects of the development of life personality from the embryonic state through the development of memory, awareness and direction. He gives full recognition to the advances made in scientific research, but maintains that religion, philosophy and science must be joined with mystic participation so that mankind may be united by an alliance of scientific perception and mystical or spiritual affirmation. He emphasizes a future when the stream of consciounness must flow backward to its source so that Man may find salvation through an acknowledgement of the God of Evolution, the universal psychic order....The market for books of this type transcends the religious book market in these days. So list the book in both places. It is not a blueprint to psychic patterns, but a book for thoughtful readers.
