YOUR EYES HAVE TOLD ME

More simplified and not as intelligent in presentation as Sidney Fox' Your Eyes (Knopf-1944-Page 133), this is a strictly pop introduction to the subject of vision -- good and bad. The structure of the eye, its powers to detect disease in other parts of the body, the detrimental effects of alcohol and nicotine; specific conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, sarcoma, trachoma, cross-eyes, color blindness, night blindness. And therapy, such as corneal transplants, the latest surgical boon; eye glasses, still proved valid, etc. Complete with case stories from his practice, this should prove easy education to the general public.
