A pleasantly surprising hang-loose collection of riddles, curious facts (and potentially useful ones--i.e., it takes 40 to 50 minutes to hardboil an ostrich egg), number games and mathematical oddities, wiggy board games, etc., etc.--with enough put-ons to keep you on your toes and without the zappy overkill that usually sinks such enterprises. (At the risk of disappointing the author, who keeps telling readers to buy lots of copies so he can make more money, we recommend the paperback edition, by far the more suitable format for Phillips' throwaway humor.)
