Lightheaded and lighthearted romantic farce, with a touch of Tarkington, for your spring fever lapses. This is all about the ultra-rich, ultra-social Redferns whose daughter disappoints them by developing social consciousness, the son by marrying the cook's daughter. Cerebrally languid, Monty is roused into action when his marriage provokes the persecution of the press, and his retaliation is completely successful. Slight, but pleasantly daft.
