HEALTH INSURANCE: The Next Step in social Security

Emphatic expression of need for change in providing and financing medical care. The author feels that the medical profession and the public will soon recognize the importance and advantages of some such system as that maintained in England and Sweden and Denmark. Society provides for the insane, the tubercular, etc. Well being of the normal citizen is the next logical step. Hospitalization plans, compulsory sickness insurance in 25 countries, health insurance in England, etc., discussed in some detail. The author pleads a good case and the book is a challenge to thoughtful readers interested in social legislation.
