VALLEY OF VIOLENCE

Standard shooting and writing but more characterization than is usually found in a western, this tells how Tom Rothroy's lust for power and determination to own the whole valley leads him to destroy those obstructing his ambition. The hero, Val Maynard, leads a coalition of ranchers, farmers, and townspeople against Rothroy and, with much destruction and bloodshed, finally defeats him. Val also wins the girl who had been pledged to Rothroy. Good enough.
