KIRKUS REVIEW

Exactly what its title suggests -- a description of the various social and political philosophies under which people live and for which many are dying today. In no sense a deep study nor a scholarly work for the author merely attempts to give you a general picture of social doctrines without a personal interpretation. He defines democracy, liberalism, capitalism, marxianism, socialism, communism, fascism, nazism, the cooperative movement, and so on. Neither controversial nor stimulating to discussion.
