KIRKUS REVIEW

A compilation of most of the poems previously published in Dark Summer and The Sleeping Fury, some of the best of Party of this Death and 25 new poems. She is less involuted and difficult than many of her contemporaries, and most of the poems in this collection reveal her talents as very personal, quite lovely, delicate, disenchanted, occasionally bitter. The majority of the poems deal with love- and disillusion in love. In one volume the best work of one of our finest young poets.
