KIRKUS REVIEW

Utter tripe, dressed up with lush trimmings, which may appeal to those who like to read about the spoiled rich. The story of one family that thought money talked louder than anything else, drips extravagance, and I, for one, was delighted when they got what they had coming to them. Louise Peattie at times shows that she knows what good writing is. I wish she could learn to prune her verbiage.
