KIRKUS REVIEW

Elderly Miss Julia, en route to Annapolis, gets a chance to satisfy an inquisitive instinct when she discovers a dead woman, later identified as an Admiral's widow, and sees that murder followed by two more. Malicious townsfolk and vindictive relatives provide a variety of motives from money to drugs to matrimonial disasters, make for a general busyness.... Chatty as a church social, if you care to attend.
