KIRKUS REVIEW

Here, for the young reader, is an introduction to the pueblo life of the New Mexican Indians. Through the colorful pictures and simple text of the Floethes, he sees the adobe houses being made, their spic and span interiors. He watches the Indian men and women at work and at their games and comes away with an image of a people who are orderly, diligent, and dignified. Written by the authors of The Cowboy On the Ranch, the content of the text is suitable for easy readers although much of the vocabulary might prove complicated for this category.
