FLYING THE STATES

Companion volume to The Flying Family in Greenland -- but this follows the Hutchinsons in their exciting trip to each of the 48 state capitals. It was a stunt -- but the parents were determined that the children should get as much educational advantages as possible out of the trip, so each stop included some sightseeing and study of the state, and lessons were carried on in the air. The account is a bit pedestrian -- which seems a contradiction in fact, but one feels it could have been less matter of course, from the travel angle and not have depended on mishaps for all the color. A book that has particular interest for the air minded.
