The outline of his instruction is based on the C.A.A. course, but he gives us much more. We feel -- after reading his book, that many unexpressed questions have been answered, that we know the hows and whys, and that, step by step, we have shared experiences with a student flier. He is not slow to stress the dangers in the wrong mental attitude; he emphasizes again and again that danger lies in preventable details.
