Flight and ground instructor and commerical pilot, officer of the U.S. Naval Air Reserve, Lieutenant Vetter speaks with authority. The outline of his instruction is based on the C.A.A. course, but he gives us much more. We feel -- after reading his book, that many unexpressed questions have been answered, that we know the hows and whys, and that, step by step, we have shared experiences with a student flier. He is not slow to stress the dangers in the wrong mental attitude; he emphasizes again and again that danger lies in preventable details. Good companion volume to the Random House book (see page 263), How to Get Into Aviation.
