SECRET MISSION SUBMARINE

By

Publisher: Ziff-Davis

The first of what promises to be a deluge of submarine books --and this a Britisher. But the Seraph deserves to be first, for it was she that took Ge. Mark Clark to Africa, on ""secret mission"" shead of the invasion, and that rescued Ge. Gireud from France. The story starts with these two missions -- swings back to the abortive encounter with a whole -- and forward to subsequent adventures and misadventures in the mediterranean area. By the time one finishes reading it, the skipper who tells the story, and his crew, and the three commandos are all good friends -- and one feels a personal pride in the exploits of H.M.C. Seraph.
