SECOND MEETING

Returned to her home town, Mary Carr, recently divorced from a cruel husband, again meets Arthur Bennett, now the liberal young president of the local University, and romance blooms. But the Dean, gunning for scandal against Bennett, whips up a storm over a trifle, and Mary and Bennett fight it through. She is accepted, after their victorious battle, as his future wife. Not inspired romance.
