KIRKUS REVIEW

No fictional elements save the device by which the narrator, in a vision, is taken back to the Holy Land by a Capuchin monk and in her vision relives and reinterprets the New Testament. Tremulously, vibrant with emotion, the story and the experience of the Crucifixion is reworded, with Mary, Judas, Pilate and the disciples as principals. An ecstatic approach which may appeal to some types of readers.
