WALK THE NIGHT UNSEEN

Will this innocent young girl from the country make it in turn-of-the-century San Francisco, regain her own body, and marry the man she loves? Such, indeed, is Maggie McLaren's dilemma. Drugged with an early version of LSD by two depraved med students, Maggie is first raped in the basement of the haunted mansion at 10 Esmeralda Court and then dispossessed of her body by the resident ghost--Lottie, a onetime Gold Rush madam. Now Lottie, making bold use of Maggie's body, gets up to no good with the med students and schemes to sell them Maura, the fourteen-year-old daughter of the house. Meanwhile, Maggie's disembodied spirit spends her time below stairs with the wraiths of various unfortunates whom Lottie drove to suicide, as well as the ghost of Maura's mother. A sort of supernatural Masterpiece Theater, in fact; but, instead of tea and port, we get moonshine and hogwash.
