New England homely touches for the return of Gail, student nurse, to her home town for a short vacation, and her re-exposure to Peter, childhood swain, who is deferred from the draft to run his family's machine plant, but who is irresponsible, shiftless, and running around with an assortment of girls. Gail fights her persistent attraction to him, Peter deserts his new girls for her, and at the close sabotage makes a man of him and he goes in the service, with Gail to wait for him. Adolescent amoratics.
