THE NURSE AT WHITTLE'S

Serious, soberminded Susan Trent, war plant nightingale and sole support of her family, has little time for love until she meets Alan, young architect, who also makes her realise her attractiveness to Joel Marshall, doctor at the war plant. Her younger sister's escapades and attempts to make Alan -- accidents and sabotage at the plant -- all give Susan plenty to do and worry about, and she turns to Joel for help and finds that he comes through on all counts. Bland -- a little bloodless. Rentals.
