The second case for the ""sleuth of the psyche,"" Dr. Ames who doesn't believe in reality therapy. After ali when Helen Garth warns him that her husband is trying to kill her, he ""doesn't tell her what to do, that was not analysis."" But it's her husband who is murdered and he does spend some time skinnydipping in the subconscious of several members of the family, rotten with father figures one of whom must be Freud unless it's Montgomery Clift. Idiotic.
