The authors alternate their recital of anecdotes, as Sidney's center around experiences in World War I, amateur theatrics, and his wheel chair invalidism; while Lucy's tell of Paris student days, housewife catastrophes, artists, musicians, etc. And there are many recipes of unusual distinction which have made their kitchen famous as well as the scene of many light- hearted, high- humored personal incidents.
