KIRKUS REVIEW

The end justifying the means when Tully Gibbs swindles his way into Kevin Russel's friendship to get a chance at working Russel's mining properties. Pretending to have been a pal of Kevin's son, Gibbs counters local opposition, bests roughshod Hodes and almost wins Sarah Moffit's loyalty. But it isn't until the mines are threatened and Gibbs keeps pitching that he's squared all around. Modernized western stuff.
