KIRKUS REVIEW

Good sporty Western, deviating from routine with no cowboying or cattle, telling of the fight between freight companies in a mountain mining district. How young Cole throws in with his uncle's competitor, outsmarts all squeeze plays to oust his outfit, wins the loyalty of the town, and, finally, gets a showdown that puts him, and his romance, in the clear. Good yarn.
