Lots of hosses, lots of injuns, and lots of cozy frontier folk fill in the gaps in this dreary story of pioneer life in Colorado. The injuns, some good, some bad, are, with a shrug, driven out of the coveted mineral spring section, because we are told, ""civilization is pushing its way into the last frontiers and the Indians must give way."" Unfortunately they are a long time in going which leaves lots of room for Ma, Pa, and all the good little children to unwind the mechanical little story of man's staking and protecting a land claim.
