With Earth on the brink of destruction, a new recruit to the Cameraman troops overcomes his fears in order to fight back against the Skibidi Toilet invasion.
When it comes to Skibidi Toilets, zero is the only number that matters—“zero Toilets left alive.” That’s the philosophy of Redd’s new squad. “Zero” is also the name of his new squad leader, who doesn’t suffer anyone on her team who makes mistakes. Redd was eager to join the resistance, but facing even the grunts and Strider Toilets is harder than he expected, let alone a Giant Toilet. Just when Redd begins to find his footing and an alliance with the Speakermen starts to turn the tides of battle, their enemies invent a mind-controlling parasite that can even turn friends into foes. True to its source material, this novel set in the universe of the “Skibidi Toilet” web series blasts from one violent action sequence to the next. The story zooms in on the struggle of a Cameraman who’s fighting self-doubt and hopelessness. Ely conveys action and emotion through rich, evocative vocabulary, adding to the title’s value for reluctant readers. However, the format lacks definitive chapters, which diminishes the impact of the suspense-building and undermines the pacing. Following the overarching plot requires an understanding of the characters and conflict in the animated series, limiting the book’s long-term appeal and relevance.
An indulgence for fans.
