Ely conveys action and emotion through rich, evocative vocabulary, adding to the title’s value for reluctant readers. However, the format lacks definitive chapters, which diminishes the impact of the suspense-building and undermines the pacing. Following the overarching plot requires an understanding of the characters and conflict in the animated series, limiting the book’s long-term appeal and relevance.
