SPIRIT OF IRELAND

To Ireland we are indebted for many charming books, also to Mr. Doyle for his many Irish stories; so lovers of the country must add a new title to their favorites. His wit and penetrating understanding of the Irish, his appreciation of the beauty of the country and his complete familiarity with its every nook and corner combine to completely demoralise this reviewer. I confess a weakness for travel but not every travel book makes the reader so keen to know more, and to read and re read. If you can't just up and go see for yourself, you will find doing Ireland with Lynn Doyle perfect vicarious travelling. A fit companion for Morton's Ireland.
