Armchair penetrate the famous caves of Europe, North America and the Middle East to discover the variations that exist them and the treasures of information they offer man by way of the archaeologist's Interpretation. How caverns of limestone are formed, the differences between stalactite and stalagmite, between dry and volcanic formations tell something of their physical structure. The authors do little to excite the reader through their style, but interested will find the material itself informative. There is growing Scout interest in the subject.
