Much tonier than its title which is altogether justified, this is about Sarah Chayse, a self-sufficient young woman of insights (after all, she's a psychiatrist) who finds a letter-perfect description of her office in a paperback thriller. And her files have been tampered with. But via the author, she links up to one of her patients now dead (heart attack?) and a Doctor Feelgood who's left others feeling nothing at all. With so little new and literate talent in this genre, why wait for the second coming? A catchy, sympathetic, stylish entertainment.
