TODAY'S SCIENCE AND YOU

The book form presentation of the author's television program, The Johns Hopkins Science Review is excitingly written and interestingly selective. Each chapter, subjects of which range from the development of the X-ray, characteristics of iso the cycle of the disease, schistosomiasis rocket ships, to forecast for the future, in presented in as visual a manner as possible, starting historically, ending with about possible work and going through descriptions of mechanisms, their uses, connections with other fields, and so forth. The illustrations by Jeanne Bendick are a little awkward but clear enough. The author cultivates attitudes of excitement towards recovery, the thrill of science and corresponding fields. Excellent for the Highschool supplementary reading list.
