PILGRIM EDITION OF THE HOLY BIBLE

This new edition of the Bible provides the authorized King James version ""with notes especially adapted for young Christians"". The features of this edition which are designed to help anyone beginning the study of the Bible are introductions for each book and each section of the Bible, copious foot-notes, chapter sub-divisions, aids to pronunciation, maps and a chronology. In the introductions and foot-notes it is made clear that the editors of the Pilgrim Edition of the Bible hold to ""the dispensational viewpoint"" in the interpretation of Scripture. Accordingly it is an edition which will be acceptable chiefly to extreme fundamentalists and particularly to those who believe that the second coming of Christ will precede the millennium despite the fact that the arrangements of the text and the typography are excellent.
