DICKON AMONG THE LENAPE INDIANS by M. R. Harrington

DICKON AMONG THE LENAPE INDIANS

By

Publisher: Winston

The period is 1612. The story has the earmarks of authenticity in its very detailed picture of life among the Lenapes at that time. The manner in which the story is told, as a virtual diary written by an English boy captive, gives it somewhat unnatural a twist, but it has plenty of excitement, enough thread of plot, and all the details of living that any young Indian enthusiast could demand.
