MURDER FOLLOWS DESMOND SHANNON

Detective Shannon, holidaying on a West Indian island, St. Callista, finds the island divided into feuds, and fears, and with a killing, finds himself right back on the old range, taking over the job. He strongarms his way into Negro , the island's white society, traces some back history and pins the blame, where it belongs. Hard fisted sleuthing. OK but not tops.
