KIRKUS REVIEW

Shades of the Peterkins -- in modern dress! The Tooseys were a large family and Mr. Toosey had a bit of common sense, but Mrs. Toosey had none. However, the misadventures of the family were always good-humored, and Tiny, the youngest, sometimes came to the rescue with a bit of wisdom beyond his years. The Kurt Wiese illustrations are not down his usual lane, but are rather fun (though a bit old-fashioned). Paper and text page also seem out of the past. However, the text redeems it.
