KIRKUS REVIEW

You can't put new wine in old bottles--and maybe the obverse is true; Montague Cork has been around for some time (last seen here in the '50's) and this is his fifth adventure in what is a superannuated series. An insurance underwriter, elderly but still sprightly, he hooks up with a television unit on location to see where a rare jewel collection has been cached after it is stolen right before his eyes, on the ""telly."" In fact it's all about the ""go-go-go world of television"" but don't loiter. It's a blithering bore.
