KIRKUS REVIEW

Dirty work is more like it once Ted Griffin agrees to test-fly a souped-up DC-3 for a right wing paramilitary organization (un)known as the Fourth of July Association. A footloose pilot with a bum ticker and a busted marriage, Griffin ascertains the group's target--the black Vice President--shortly before he discovers he's also expendable. Deftly conspiratorial and reminiscent of Adam Kennedy's The Domino Principle (1975).
