FOOTSTEPS IN PALESTINE

There is magic in the words ""the Holy Land"" and Mrs. Miller's love of Palestine and her faithful portrayal of its scenes make enchanting reading. Because of the similarity of its subject, title and jacket design, it is bound to be confused with H. V. Horton's In the Footsteps of the Master (Dodd, Mead '34) and I am afraid it will lose out on some sales by people thinking it is the earlier book which they have read. It is unfortunate, as the book is entirely capable of standing on its own merits and being compared with the best. People who read the Morton book, and they are legion and increase daily, should enjoy these further footprints. The style is vivid, the bible incidents brought to life and the reader is quickly and easily transplanted to the Holy Land of the prophets of Israel and the Master of Men. Sell to the traveller or bible student; ideal for cruise passengers.
