FUN WITH SCIENCE

The science editor of Young America and his wife have made a picture book with running text out of a series of experiments in physics, which should fascinate any youngster with even a bump of curiosity. Through these experiments, all tested, many of the basic principles of science are introduced and demonstrated:- center of gravity, inertia, momentum, the principle of the lever, surface tension, Bernoulli's law, terminal velocity, magnetism, refraction, and so on and on -- these terms take on meaning, through the clarity of the text and the pictorial appeal. Good job.
