THE OXFORD GROUPS

Miss Ward feels the Oxford groups are more tolerant of the Roman Church than the average Protestant gathering. She is more tolerant than the average Romanist, but one feels even here that her tolerance is not for the value of the group, as an impartial observer, but as the opportunist who sees a chance of increasing her own party. She is as fair as one can be with an outsider's knowledge of the movement.
