GENERAL DEAN'S STORY

The experiences of the American General who was captured after close to a month evading the North Koreans, is an adventure story that could be read like fiction and be shrugged aside as impossible. His ordeal was great and the recall is amazingly complete. There is too, the faith in democracy coupled with the determination to see what makes the other side think as it does and his realization of our own inadequacies that make us take the American way for granted.
