KIRKUS REVIEW

Here's THE circus book of the Spring season, so plan to play it up when the circus comes to your town. Dexter is the famous press agent for the Greatest Show on Earth, and this is not only his story, as connected with keeping the circus on the map, but it is a good human interest document, with sidelights on circus performers, circus life, freaks, the old Wild West Shows, Buffalo Bill and other masters of the sawdust world. Not only a biography but a first rate all round circus story -- and should be easy to sell and easy to rent. Count on a plus sale for older boys and girls -- and display in both departments.
