KIRKUS REVIEW

The modern fighting planes of 15 nations -- United States, France, Great Britain, Germany, Italy, and also China, Finland, Spain, etc. Brief discussion of each nation's general standing, plus clear, concise, practical description of the leading war planes of each. Illustrated with color photographs of most of the planes and with several full-page drawings in color of fighting planes in action. Some of the colors in the photographs are pretty crude, but the book is well-done on the whole and will fill a demand. Adults will read it too -- in fact, its range is wide both up and down from age classification.
