If anyone could do a strategy map that would have value and interest for more than a passing moment, while Germany gobbles up another country, Eliot is the man. He has given his Europe without national boundaries; he has indicated permanent lines of fortifications, air bases, fleet bases, etc. etc. It is a map that needs close attention, not a wall map for quick survey, to place the next line. The keys are interesting, but a trifle involved. The factual material on the back with key historical map, with index to place names, with outline of military geography again emphasizes its use in the hand rather than on the wall.
