ALEXANDER'S VACATION

A sequel to Alexander's Christmas five and Alexander's Birthday in which Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus and the three toys of the earlier books take a vacation trip by plane to Bermuda. There Santa Claus is arrested as a spy and there are various complications before all ends happily. Rather dull reading -- not up to its predecessors -- though it will inherit their sales appeal.
