THE PRINCE WITH A HUNDRED DRAGONS

Guy Gaharis Ethelnor Bulwinkle liked butterflies, but did not like the pressures- especially dragon slaying-- which came with being a prince. As luck would have it, when Guy is sent out to slay a few, he comes upon a butterfly-collecting dragon. The dragon and Guy join collections and forces; the dragon gives the lad his and his friends' old skins. The king soon tires of tripping over old pelts which begin to crowd the palace, and tells his son to give up the brave hunt. The illustrations, which are elaborate and stylized in a manner which a young audience will enjoy, stand as a fine example of effective use of full color. An entrancing tramp through woods and caves with an enterprising youth.
