DIAMONDS TO AMSTERDAM

Tommy Hambledon, called in from the Foreign Office, puts his wits to work on the murder of a metallurgical chemist whose ability to make gold has been causing a stir. Much detailed work by alert and watchful subordinates, in England and later Holland, help Hambledon untangle the unrelated stolen vans, hidden diamonds, an abducted, bogus professor and assorted odd people.
