DULL THUD

Liz Parrott and her cat, I-Am, a houseful of women (cattier and I-Am), with and without men in the service, and murder- as Liz is off to one of her entertaining races against the killer. Her new room-mate leaves much to be desired, her relations with her fellow roomers have their ups and downs, as she forces them to reveal how they have been blackmailed, and her bookshop suffers as she concentrates on the killings. It is the arrival of her husband that sets her off in a final fling of sleuthing which pays off. Sharp scratch and bite school.
