JULIUS CAESAR

An efficient biography of Julius Caesar furthers Manuel Komroff's record of earnest non-fiction for this age group. Missing few of the personal and political ins and outs of Caesar's long career, the chronology of his life from boyhood to assassination is complete. Though the report retains the tone of an onlooker watching events two thousand years old, the analysis of the machinations and rivalries that made Caesar's fate will serve as a good introduction to Roman history.
