BRUEGEL LE VIEUX (Bruegel-The Old)

These books belong to the series ""Anciens et Modernes"" and are the first two on old masters. There were six books on the moderns a year ago. These, as the others, are biographies of the two painters and the stories of their paintings. Both volumes contain reproductions of their works both in color and black and white -- about 70 to each book. Easily and pleasantly written and beautifully presented. A lovely and enjoyable Christmas gift.
