OZONE THERAPY FOR THE TREATMENT OF VIRUSES

The Science and the Promise of Healing With Ozone

by Marc J. Seifer

Publisher: INNER TRADITIONS BEAR & CO.

A nonfiction book offers a scientific explanation and defense of ozone therapy, especially as a treatment for Covid-19.

According to Seifer, the widespread use of ozone therapy as a treatment for Covid-19 could have saved millions of lives and the world trillions of dollars. While he advocates for vaccinations, he contends that ozone therapy is a safe and effective treatment for both the vaccinated and unvaccinated that boasts a robust track record of success. He presents his case meticulously, citing not only the clinical evidence in support of ozone therapy, but also its documented use for Covid-19 in places like Spain and Italy as well as for burn victims, those with various viral diseases, and against the superbugs that plague hospital systems. The author provides an accessible history of the treatment and a concise overview of the inner workings of the immune system, along with the testimony of doctors who have used it with success and patients who have received it. At the heart of the issue is the vigorous opposition mounted against the treatment by the Food and Drug Administration and the American Medical Association as well as the pharmaceutical industry—Seifer presents his criticisms of those organizations with impressive composure and evenhandedness. Will readers be convinced? This is such a complex issue that a conversion is unlikely to occur. But the author’s work will probably stimulate further research and even provocatively raise suspicions about the opposition of certain quarters of the medical establishment. Occasionally, the author departs from his usual rigor and precision and regales readers with vague generalities: “Based on hundreds of millions of years of evolution, it remains clear that the best way to keep us safe from new and dangerous pathogens involves the ability to learn from and then emulate the wisdom of Mother Nature.” In addition, his case would be stronger without referring to the authority of a controversial medical figure like Mark Hyman. Nonetheless, this remains an eye-opening book.

A well-researched introduction to a much-maligned therapeutic tool.
