HYPERSENTIENCE: Exploring Your Past Lifetime As a Guide To Your Character and Destiny

A ""facilitator"" tells of her experiences in guiding clients (known as ""sensors"") into their past lives as tinkers, tailors, soldiers, sailors, and monks (the latter, oddly enough, a most popular profession). There is the usual amount of abstruse palaver re inner-dimensional visitors from other galaxies and Velikovskian UFO visitors mating with earthlings in the dim past. Heaven itself is curiously mundane--a kind of grown-up Summerhill with discarnates avidly discussing books in pastoral surroundings and wondering when to work off some more karma down here on earth. The value of this time-tripping, asserts the author, goes beyond curiosity and voyeurism to a general increase in spiritual awareness. The average reader, however, is apt to be most intrigued by the method's homegrown substitute for psychoanalysis: e.g., a compulsive eating habit may have less to do with an oral fixation on mama than with starving to death in the Irish potato famine. Skeptics can giggle, but accounts of lost civilizations like Lemuria and Atlantis do share amazing congruences; and for those who feel they've known a new lover all their lives, the message is they probably have: it's just the same old partner from some previous incarnation. Till death do us part. Maybe.
